David and his friends Andrew Boyes and Graham MacMilan decided to form a band with David on drums.  They started off practicing in our attic but Mam told them it was too loud and the neighbours would complain.  They ended up going to Boyes's barn and did a bit of insulating to the walls.  The band didn't last all that long and unfortunately there were no number 1 hits.
