David was a caring, witty, intelligent man, who always loved to look after the family and make sure that everyone was involved and enjoying themselves. He never failed to make me laugh. I have many great memories of David from flying up glaciers in a helicopter to seeing him emerge naked from the sea after nearly drowning at the Leisure park in New Zealand. I will miss him dearly.
I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with you.

I love you all and will see you again sometime in the near future.
