I’ve had the privilege of watching David dance, sit through endless “dad-jokes”, burst into spontaneous song, and whistle like there’s no tomorrow for about 17 years - and every time he still managed to make me smile & laugh. His unwavering positivity was infectious and made everyone in the room relaxed. I mostly remember David at every one of Jasmin’s birthday parties, lighting the fire for the marshmallows or making sure the tent/garden was perfect for all the girls! As I got older our conversations seemed to move somewhat towards international shipping…no one loved talking about shipping containers as much as David! A real rarity & I loved it! I witnessed David’s love for Claire, Alex, Oscar & Jasmin - whether it was on the side of the sport pitch, at multiple boring school functions or pulling funny faces in EVERY family photo I saw. What an amazing, full of life soul that I will miss a lot. To being weird & wonderful always!
